I absolutely love the Rotten Fruit Box! I put them in vanilla yogurt and it tastes a thousand times better than normal yogurt. The price is SO worth it for the quantity AND they give you free little gifts every now and then when they have extra (so far I’ve had two boxes delivered and both had gofts inside, which is so great. I am actually in love with this product and recommend it to basically anyone I talk to these days honestly.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! I do apologize for the delay in getting your box out to you caused by the Canada Post strike. Thank you!
I love my Rotten Fruit Box! These little gems of sweet and tart awesomeness save my sanity when I want a treat! They go fantastic on my yogurt, or cottage cheese, in oatmeal, or even in trail mix. I even smashed up the raspberries and used them in buttercream when I made macarons. AWESOME!! I won’t be cancelling this subscription any time soon.
I swear I only to wanted try one piece of peach...
... But I couldn't stop myself, and I ate the whole pouch. Thankfully, I have other fruits to try. I was a little disappointed to receive an email saying that they couldn't send me the black olives, but the free pouch of green olives I received is so, so much appreciated - they're delicious (and no, I haven't eaten them all... yet). I did not buy a box, as I did not want to get a subscribtion without trying some fruits first, but now I certainly will at some point in the near future.
Great product tastes like fresh
I loved my rotten fruit box. The fruit tastes just like fresh. They have a great texture and flavor. Enjoy the idea of reducing waste at the same time.
Good idea, disappointing distribution
I tried a variety of snacks to see whether it would be something worth subscribing to. The box arrived months later than I was expecting, but i did receive update emails to explain that it would be late. I found that the fruit was much higher priced for the amount than what I was expecting - there was a duty sticker for $17.50 on the box that cost me $47 (so I’m hoping that the farmers are being paid extremely well for that kid of mark up). Also, there were two items missing from my box, which were refunded to my credit card, so I didn’t get to try all the items that I wanted. The delivery was pretty disappointing, overall. Generally, I thought that the fruit tasted pretty good. I liked the bananas and blueberries the best. My kid did not like any of them, except in smoothies. For the price, I’ll stick to frozen. I think this product would be excellent for backpacking or canoe camping, since they are nutritious and light. The cost and unpredictable delivery times make that sort of planning really difficult.
The Rotten Fruit Box
Hi Barbara! THank you for the detailed feedback. We really appreciate all the feedback we can get. As you very well said, we did experience shipping delays in June, due to the extraordinary demand we experienced. We have since added new staff members and are shipping out almost same day orders are placed. We do place a price sticker on the outside of the box in shipments to Canada, precisely to inform Canadian custom that this is a low value item, and this is the first time we have had any of our fans mention being charged any additional amount. If you were to be changed any amount, according to the Canadian Duty and Tax estimator, it would be about $3. Obviously we get none of that money. In all honesty, I am at a loss as to what happened, and my sincerest apology. Thank you, Tony
